Researching these family surnames. We originated in Canada; then Lyon Mt./Dannemora, NY; North Adams, Mass; Brockton, Mass. Our earliest documented ancestor is Edward or Edgar Noel (born ca 1885) of North Adams, Mass, and his wife Josephine Brunell (born ca 1879) from Lyon Mt., NY. They eventually settled in Brockton around 1920 with their children Viola (who married Joe Pelaquin), Russell, Hazel (who married a Richardson), Maude (also married a Richardson), and Charlie. I am Russell's granddaughter; he married Isabelle Gibbons, daughter of John and Nellie Ryan Gibbons of Brockton. Their son Joe(Sonny)is my father.
