I have submitted this with the hopes of exposing what is real and what is manipulation.

Our small community-based art scene has flourished in the last couple of years. Through the hard work of a small group of artists, musicians, etc., we are finally beginning to reach a true dialogue with the public. We have always tried to be truthful and honest with you and tonight will be no exception. It is time to expose the facts about the controversy surrounding brothers Kaiser and Craig Schwarez.

THE TRUTH ABOUT KAISER SCHWAREZ

The conceptual artist/ fashion designer Kaiser Schwarez wants you to believe he has long been a supporter of the local and community based art scene. Mr. Schwarez claims that the intent of his work is to �inject creativity into the life of the common man.�

The truth is however, Kaiser Schwarez�s (born Kevin Schwarez) career has been a campaign of opportunism, marketability, and style over substance. He wants nothing more than to take advantage of the hard work and dedication of those who do believe in our community.

CRAIG SCHWAREZ DOES BELIEVE�

To find a shining example of what it means to create with the community in mind you have to look no further than Kaiser�s twin brother, Craig Schwarez. Craig�s socio-political puppet shows truly reflect the spirit of community-based creativity. From his performances in front of Town Hall to the ones behind Walgreen�s, he gets his vision to the people. As a frequent contributor to Inspired Connections he gives our movement a voice. Craig Schwarez is a perfect model for finding a bridge between art and life.
