Your eyes are like a sweet embrace,
They pull me in, hold me in place.
But your words are like a sword,
They stab me, make me fall to the floor.
I keep pleading with you,
“Please, stop now if we’re through.”
Don’t pull me in, only to push me away,
Don’t hold me, if you’re not going to stay.
You say you want us to end,
Only want me as a friend.
But then you come back, love me again,
Will this torture never end?
I want to tell you, “let’s really end it now,”
But then I see your eyes and, WOW!
Won’t you please, forever set me free,
That will be my final plea……
Please, stop using me.
