Remembered
Memories alone refrain
the blood within my heart
from reaching the depths
of my poor soul.
I remember the wild-fire and motionless leaves
bearing their pale bodies in our dark shadows.
The memories drive me mad at night
...that is when the dreams are most vivid...
What happend to that storm
that threatened to drown even the fiercest river?
I have forgotten.
...forgotten...
Revive the memory
Revive that soul in me
Revive the storm so that it may rise again
above the land that wished to conceal it.
Every touch and breath is remembered
It is as though you are still beside me
and I shall never be alone.
