Turning my back and walking away
In complete and absolute dismay
After finding the room empty, of you
For our time has come to conclusion
Leaving me in complete confusion
Where I go from here I do not know
Carrying pieces of my heart in a bag
Living my life is becoming a drag
Even my whiskey doesn’t taste the same
Turning my back on every thing I had
Feeling like a discarded carpet pad
Walking into the empty silent night
Dropping the bag into the nearby trash can
It is no longer of any use to this man
I step into the dark solitude of night
Turning my back and just disappearing

Forever vanishing into the night
After finding the room empty of you
Seeing the end of dreams come into view
For our time has come to a conclusion

everything has absolution, though tears to defend.
The pain within will shatter with newer dreams.
Though I'm gone, the memory still remains
the aftermath of the heart's soulfull stains
and though I seem distant, I also scream.
I do not mean to cause lover's treason,
but everything does happen for some reason
and perhaps, your true love is days away.
You may think your heart's broken inside,
yet it beats on... it keeps its stride
to live and love for yet another day.
