Anna; I view this from a spiritual sense as well. Things, circumstances, busyness, obstacles, and a whole host of objects can get between us and the Lord. As we are pulled away, we do lose that joy and peace. It is only when we come to Him broken and in confession; He restores us, and we are once again at peace. In my own life, I have needed that lesson more then once. Today, that peace that passeth all understanding is more important to me then all the other things this world has to offer. Wonderful poem!!
