SOCIETY

Soceity flows like a dark wave-
Ruining everything that it touches.
It ebbs and flows as I stand
just inches from its grasp.
I wait to be swept away by its currents;
but, it fears me more than I fear it.
Over time, the dark tides recede
beyond the walls built around us-
daming us in the flow of society.
