He trots forward briskly, getting right down to the point really, and stops next to her. He snorts once and tosses his head, his long mane flying around him like a halo. Suddenly he hits him - what if she thinks he is arrogant or pompous? Stopping instantly, for that was not his character(!) he watches the mare closely, examining her every move.
