*he enters, trying not to frighten the mares. He whickers, letting them know that they are all welcome in his territory. He wants all of them to join him, but he knew that wouldn't be fair, so he glanced at each of them, saw the mare dubbed Neptune and he nudged her. He wants her to join him in Autumn Trails Forest.
He looks at the other two and he feels sorry. There was nothing wrong with them, not at all! But he just didn't feel right to claim all three when there was another stallion out there that had less mares than he and could give them the strongest love they needed.
He nuzzles Neptune, hardly waiting until he sees her in his territory*
