she slowly lifts her head now aware of the stallion's presence. she looks back at her sister, who was still grazing calmly. she paws the ground, wondering what to do. turning back to the stallion, she looks into his eyes, searching for something, though not even she knows what. but perhaps, she was looking for the hope of a new life, the trust that he would love her and not leave her as many others had done, the love that they both needed if they were to be together...
