Rund um den Globus wollen diese grünen Guerilleros die Städte mit Pflanzen wiederbeleben. Es gilt, die Megalopolen dieser Welt für deren Einwohner angenehmer zu gestalten, lebt doch mittlerweile mehr als die Hälfte der Menschheit in Städten. Doch manchem Guerillagärtner geht es bei weitem nicht nur darum, die urbanen Landschaften aus Beton und Stahl mit Blümchen zu behübschen und dem Passanten im Vorbeigehen ein Lächeln aufs Gesicht zu zaubern. Was angesichts der geballten kommerziellen und politischen Interessen, welche den urbanen Raum regieren, gelinde gesagt naiv wirken könnte. Als ob eine Sonnenblume etwas gegen die finanziellen Interessen ausrichten könnte. Eine Angelegenheit für unverbesserliche Träumer, die vermeinen, dass ihnen jeden Tag Bambi aus der Hand frisst?..."
