Das Ergebnis des Volksentscheids über ein striktes
Rauchverbot ist deutlich ausgefallen: 61 Prozent stimmten am
Sonntag für die Rückkehr zur bundesweit strengsten Regelung
im Nichtraucherschutz.


Die Wahlbeteiligung fiel bei hochsommerlichem Wetter mit
37,7 Prozent der 9,4 Millionen Wahlberechtigten gering aus.


Das neue Gesetz soll schon vom 1. August an gelten. Demnach
wird es nun ausnahmslos verboten sein, in Kneipen,
Gaststätten, Bars, Diskotheken und auch Bierzelten zu
rauchen.
