Sozialverbände führen die starke Zunahme von Erkrankungen auf
das Inkrafttreten der Hartz-Gesetze zurück. Der Hauptgeschäftsführer
des Paritätischen Wohlfahrtsverbandes, Ulrich Schneider,
kritisierte, der seelische Druck auf Arbeitslose und ihre Familien sei enorm,
da Hartz IV bedeute, bereits nach einem Jahr Arbeitslosigkeit „in die Armut zu stürzen“.
