Steed silently observes femme, quite intrigued by stance alone... She was conceited, yet one to be stood behind... for all her beliefs were apparently true about herself... Keeping a soft eye 'pon lamia, steed stood like a rock, sensing slight approval, at least with this femme... as if she saw his sire within him... What a compliment this must be... but steed ne'er let it get to his head... for he was his own equine, yet with traits of sire no doubt... if only sire would show himself, before he is shunned from throne... Taking a chance, steed slowly reached muzzle out t'ward femme, retrieving scent, giving his own... Auds perch atop masculine cranium as he does so, retracting dial quickly, keeping from getting too close... unless offer taken without violence... for he was not one to harm mares.. merely 'put them in their place'...
