The German Shepard puppy walks in whimpering in fear. She looks at the people walking by a little comforted by them. Atleast she was no longer alone now. A small child walks by eating french fries, she whimpers hungrily but the child keeps walking without offering any food to her.

Past: Her former owners went camping with her and her mother. Her brothers and sisters had died at birth and she was the only survivor. When they were leaving the thought that the pup was in the camper but she wasn't and they left without her.

* The male pitbull watches from afar. He layed in the grass about 10 ft. from the hungry puppy. He felt sorry for the little thing. He had a family, mate, and pups once. But they left him. They were still around cascade, he thought, they had to be. He was about to get up and take the puppy to get her some food but then Amber came along. After his esperience with being forgotten, he really never did learn to trust humans again. He wouldnt attack them, but he knew he could take better care of this puppy then this human. He let out a small 'woof' to the pup and thumped his tail on the ground watching her.*
