He shoves the amount in cash into the man's hand, looking at him for permission to take the animal.

"If he's hurt, I'll make sure you never use that leg of yours again!" Vance snarled at the man,cracking a row of knuckles. his eyes are narrowed and his breathing is ragged as he tries to control it, keep his anger in check.
