A couple other young men and women get out from trucks following. They get to work. Loads of young, healthy looking fillies and colts are led out, and put in pastures. A sign is put up close by, it reads: HILLSIDE STABLES ANNUAL WEANLING SALE. ALL FOALS ARE FROM LAST YEAR, EACH ARE ABOUT 10 MONTHS OLD. THEY ARE ALL HALTER AND TRAILER BROKEN, BUT YOU MUST DO THE REST. THERE ARE MANY BREEDS OF FOALS TO CHOOSE FROM, ALL FOALS COST $3000 Full Name: Switch-On Calling Name: Switch Age: 9 months Gender: Filly Breed: Thoroughbred Colour: Chestnut, interupted blaze Personality: Sweet, curious little filly, she is in to anything and everything. It very hard to stay mad at her, shes got this "look" that will melt your heart. Level: Halter and trailer broke, it will be kinda hard to train her for standing still, its not one of her strong points.... The Future: I can see her as a racer, she has lots of potential, already already showing tonnes of speed. Full Name: Rock The House Down Calling Name: Rock Age: 10 months Gender: Filly Breed: Quarter Horse Colour: Palomino Personality: Her mother was a grumpy mare, she has inheirited this trait I'm afraid. She can get a bit nippy at times, I would keep her away from the younger foals.. Level: Halter broken, HATES the trailer, will do anything to not go in it. The Future: Shows potential in maybe calf roping or round-up. Full Name: Tears Over Spilled Paint? Calling Name: Paint Age: 10 almost 11 months Gender: Colt Breed: Chincoteage Pony Colour: Black Tobiano Personality: Goofy colt, does extremely funny things (run into hay bales, get a bucket on his head and run around like crazy, steal your shoes etc.) Level: Halter and trailer broken. The Future: He could be a pet or a nice childrens pony that knows basic riding skills. Or he could go somewhere that he could help depressed or sick children. Full Name: Changing Lanes Calling Name: Lanny Age: 9 months Gender: Colt Breed: Thoroughbred Colour: Black, blaze Personality: He is very shy and quiet, he needs someone who will give him a quiet home, and will help him out of his shell. Level: Halter, trailer, he is a very easy foal to train. He can already stand still in his stall. The Future: I think the racing career might be a bit hard for him, but he would be a nice pony horse or just a riding horse. I can see him learning basic riding skills. Full Name: The Strong Man Calling Name: Simon Age: 11 months Gender: Colt Breed: Standardbred Colour: Rich solid bay Personality: Very serious, takes almost anything seriously. He seems very old for almost a year, and doesn;t like people that disturb his "peace" Level: Halter and trailer broke, also beginning to respond to pressure. The Future: He is very disciplined, I could see him as a stadium jumper someday. Or a sulky racer, but that doesn't really seem like him. Full Name: Golden Lass Calling Name: Lassie Age: Almost 10 months Gender: Filly Breed: Mustang Colour: Dun Personality: She is a real lady, you won't see her out rolling in the mud, she is dainty and slim and seems to float over the ground. Level: Halter and trailer broke, she can pace! And is already learning to stand still on command. The Future: She has nice conformation and is doing nicely with the halter, I would say you should show off what a lady she is and try Handheld showing or Conformation. Full Name: Il Splashes Calling Name: Splash Age: Actually almost a year old! Gender: Colt Breed: American Paint Colour: Chestnut Tobiano Personality: Curious, but not too much, he gets in trouble sometimes then runs away. He can hide very well, and tries to make you think he's scared, but he isn't. Level: Halter and trailer broke. The Future: Not too clear, he's pretty good at alot of things. I would just choose something for him as he matures. Full Name: Night Hawkette Calling Name: Hawk Age: 8 months Gender: Filly Breed: Quarter Horse Colour: Bucksin Personality: Gentle and caring, she is very willing and loves to learn. She is pretty much a loner, not playing tag or running around with the rest of the foals. She is more interested in the animals around her. Level: Halter and trailer broke, can stand still when asked. The Future: There are many things, but I would go with a childrens mount, she is very gentle and easy to train. Full Name: My Mona Me Calling Name: Mona Age: 10 months Gender: Filly Breed: Quarter Horse Colour: Red Roan Personality: She is bright and full of energy, always bouncing around. She can never stand still, she always wants to play and run around. Level: Halter and trailer broke The Future: She is very sturdy and has no fear when it comes to danger. I could see her as a trail horse. Full Name: Big Jazz Calling Name: Jaze Age: 10 months Gender: Colt Breed: American Paint/ Thoroughbred Colour: Sorrel Tobiano Personality: Fearless, he is afraid of almost nothing, and can go along in any kind of danger. Throw those gigantic jumps at him, he'll jump 'em. Level: Halter and trailer broke. Beginning to respond to pressure on the lunge line. The Future: I would guess a jumper, anything with jumping. She realy wanted all 4 but would go with 1 or 2.+

Of coure you may have all of them, as long as you can pay for them all. I'm not giving any discounts!" Rock tries to bite Lanny, who moves away and bumps into Switch. She snorts. Hawk looks up at the people curiously. Big Jazz He leads the colt up, and ties him to the fence, he stands with ears perked toward their conversation "I just want to know where you'll be taking him and what you'll be training him in. If you know." My Mona Me He stands by the filly's paddock, where the filly walks around, ears perked and interested in her new surroundings. "Yes, she's a good girl. Are you interested in her? She's for sale." The Strong Man, Il Splash, and Tears Over Spilled Paint The woman leads over the three colts "Of course you can. Look all you want!" The three stand next to eachother, Splash looks tired and seems to doze off, but is woken up by Paint who was currently swinging his lead rope around, hitting Simon in the nose.
