Subject: It was busier that night for some reason she just hadn't been able to figure out, so it was later before she managed to get away - the bar had been a bit of a mess and they had been short-staffed. Sure enough though, she emerged on her own, too late to catch the bus and too stubborn to take a taxi, but walking at her purposeful speed. Hands shoved into the pockets of her charcoal wool coat - one tight around her cell phone - she glanced either way quickly before heading off in the direction of her apartment building. Her light blonde waves had been pulled out of their tie before she left the club and were in contrast to her all-black uniform of boots, gauchos, and the lacy bustier beneath her coat. As she marched - on the edge of the sidewalk closest to the streets, farthest from the dark entrances to the sidestreets and alleys - her face was tipped down at the ground, but she glanced up every once few steps with just her eyes.

I've never looked for trouble
But I've never ran
I don't take no orders from no kind of man
Because I'm evil
My middle name is misery
Yeah, I'm evil, so don't you mess with me

  • He watched her emerge and then watched how she carried herself down the sidewalk. After a few minutes of this, he lengthened his stride and caught up with her, speaking in his low, soft tone. "Eyes up. Confidence, less likely to be approached." He stated, probably the most words he had said in a row to her, even though it wasn't exactly a full sentance. He shoved his hands into his pockets, walking beside her. He had to shorten his strides to keep walking next to her instead of in front of her but he had long legs, so that tended to happen with just about anyone...
