Subject: "Sure, we can walk..." His arm slipped easily around her waist, more to just keep her close then anything else. His own hazel eyes drifted around - taking in the sights and going on's before she spoke again. "Right, yeah...I know he will." He offered a slight smile, squeezing her closer to his side with a wink before his eyes drifted again. The 'front had a distinctive vibe about, the sounds were a lot to take in on their own - people yelling, cars and bikes revving, the waves in the distance, music coming out of all the different bars and clubs - not to mention the lingering smell of exhaust, alcohol and something else he couldn't put his finger on...

  • She drank it all in with a sense of excitement... it was nothing like the dark and smokey streets of the city she was so used to... it was bright and fun and friendly. She slipped her arm around his wist and hooked her thumb into his belt loop at his side, letting her gaze linger of things and people. She was really glad, for the first time in her life, to be somewhere. Joey and Jason couldn't have picked a better place for them all to live. For once she was far too pre-occupied with taking everything in to notice the looks she got, she even forgot her attitude. She glanced out at the ocean and the beach, smirking a touch as she bumbed close to his side "Its wierd to be so near the ocean... closest I ever got to the beach was a sand pit at elementry school..."
