• Sure enough, it took him a little longer than necessary to get through the crowds and to his girlfriend - who he spotted by the bar the moment he stepped inside - just because he kept getting stopped by people who recognized him and hadn't seen him around in a while. Finally, he slipped up behind her, and one hand moved to brush her hair off the side of her neck, then both moved to the bar on either side of her and his lips dropped to her bare shoulder. "I made it..." His voice was that low, rough growl that seemed to be one of his trademarks - yet was so sweet and affectionate, as always when he spoke to her, when they weren't fighting that was, of course. • "My mom and dad, they were going to go on this cruise the first week of Decemeber, but I guess my dad has to work or something so now they have these two extra tickets and nothing to do with them - my mom said we could have them if we wanted and she would watch the kids..." They had never gone away together in all the time they had been together and she thought it would be nice but she wasn't sure if he would want to be away for a week or if he would even enjoy a cruise. "It's through the caribbeans so there would be a lot of stops at the Islands and stuff which would be kind of cool to see."
