Subject: the night seemed to be dragging on, and he was starting to get antsy, so he was out for a walk, trying to settle himself down with the fresh air. As fresh as it could be out on the water front that is. So he was heading her way, and she seemed familiar to him, drawing his attention to her. Just who she was though escaped him

  • Well... of course she had changed in the three or four years it had been since she'd seen him... she'd grown up... to some extent. Under it all she was still the same playful little girl who loved nothing more than playing around on the beach with her friends. If she had seen him coming, it is hard to say what she would have done, torn between running and hiding and flinging her arms around his neck and breaking down... as it is.... the tears blurred her vision and she kept her head down, taking long, much desired breaths from the drug. • he didn't want to be seen, and when he didn't want to be seen, he wasn't. What he wanted was to figure out who she was, and why it felt like he should know her. He needed a face to put a name too, and all he'd gotten so far was a profile. A familiar profile. (NT) -- Orion, Sat, Dec 04 2004, 2:15pm PST
