She's just a lost little girl

The sound of her expensive gucci leather boot heels echoed throughout the dark and deserted alleyway, her bright eyes covered by shaded glasses even though the sun was starting to set and the alley itself provided very little light. She couldn't risk being seen, this was all just seemed like a bad dream at times to her still young self. She had started the habit two years ago just to keep her up so that she could study to get into a good school, to make her parents proud, to get a full scholarship - all she wanted was a little bit of energy and all she had gotten was a terrible addiction that plagued her every step. It had started just being a couple of times a month and had now progressed to a required amount each and everyday - it wasn't a pretty thing if she missed taking a line somewhere during the course of twenty four hours. Yet, through it all she had managed to hide it from everyone, including her best friend, her sister.

Finally reaching the house, if you could call it that, she was supposed to be at was a relief, wandering around in the dark in this area of town wasn't her idea of a classy night. With a tight lipped frown the pretty society girl knocked four times briskly on the door, drawing back a step to wait. Long arms crossed beneath her generous chest as she gazed around, just taking in the sights. She would make easy prey around here with her classic good looks, a hint of spirit and rebellion just dying to come out hidden in pale blue eyes, and a curvacious form clad in tight, low slung blue jeans, torn and tattered, with a graphic tee that sported the words 'brunswick soccer' across the fabric that was stretched out across her chest. The outfit itself, though it looked worn and tattered, was actually all most likely purchased at the local hollister store the day before...

He answered the door, the chain still strung across. He would have demanded a name, but he never could deny a pretty face. He unlatched the chain and offered an inviting sweep of the arm. "Hello sweetie. How can I help you tonight?" He was wearing a beanie half pulled down over his forehead, but other than that nothing different about him, studded belt, a home made tank top that was once a decent looking t-shirt, and girly skinny jeans. His free hand was tucked inside his pocket, for being a rail, he was a solid figure, but nothing could disguise his shifty eyes. (NT) -- Griffen Miller, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 12:14am PDT
  • She pursed her lips idely, taking in the room before she brought her eyes to his with a low look of distrust there. "Where's Braden?" He was the man that she usually dealt with and she was uncomfortable with dealing with anyone else. She shifted a bit, adjusting the jeans over her boots that clung around her calves - she had the rest of her clothes for going out later that evening in her car parked down the road some - she hadn't wanted to wear the short skirt and tight corset top here. So she was a bit haughty at times, she could be really sweet, she just wasn't sure about these people who worked with...her dirty little habit. (NT) -- Daniella, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 12:19am PDT
  • "Aw sugar, he's on vacation.. for you know 2-5." He smirked a little, he wasn't that bad of a guy, but it wasn't so much of an insecurity or a shame as it used to be, this life style. "Is there anything I can help you with? I was his partner, was his roomie, you want to come inside?" He opened the door wide to the lackluster apartment. A shabby couch with a wide screened plasma and an x-box were all that was really around. Oh and of course the glass table that he had bought with his first paycheck from his new job. (NT) -- Griffen Miller, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 12:22am PDT
  • She pursed her lips tightly, glancing over her shoulders briefly before she took a step in, her brow cocked a she looked around once more before her eyes went back to him. He wasn't a bad looking guy , not her usual type but that wasn't really what was on her mind anyways. She wasn't sure if she should trust this kid or what - she wasn't about to just jump into a deal with a stranger. "So, you and Braden were..." she paused a moment, her eyes saying more then her lips. "..close?" (NT) -- Daniella, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 12:26am PDT
  • "We were partners. I was the silent half, I was the drop off man. You know." He smiled a cocky little grin and walked away to a room just out of sight, returning with filled pockets. "You may recognize me. I drive a black acura legend.. I'm like the delivery guy." He returned with two beers. Presumptuous of course. "Corona?" (NT) -- Griffen Miller, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 12:29am PDT
  • She did know of the car but she still wasn't so sure and it showed in her eyes. She had money, that was obvious in the watch around her wrist, the white gold chain around her neck, and the huge pick up she was making tonight. "Thank you." She murmured, taking the beer and cracking it open before she held out her hand. "Daniella." She stated, her eyes on his steadily. (NT) -- Daniella, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 12:34am PDT
  • "Silly me. I'm Griffen Miller, you can call me Griff." He offered his hand to her. He'd heard about her, he'd made the drops before, and he'd brought home the bills. "So, now, paperwork got a little messed up and I'm going to have to negotiate the price a little bit because of the.. transition we've been so inconvienced with." He smiled a little snarky smile. He could play the drug dealer, at first, it was tough. But it was amazing how many ladies did cocaine and weren't pushed to the point of looking like death. It made this job oh so worth while. (NT) -- Griffen, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 12:37am PDT
  • She cocked a brow at that, her hand lingering in his for a moment before she drew back, her head tilted ot the side as she took him in. "What kind of negotiations?" She wasn't about to be ripped off, she had been doing this long enough to know a tax job when she got one - if he was lining his pockets with her money she would be lining his doorway with the image of her leaving. She glanced down at her watch, she had a class in the morning and she didn't want to be up way to late. Crazy how responsible and in charge of her life she was other then just this one little thing. (NT) -- Danielle, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 12:41am PDT
  • "Drinks?" He was arranging her pick up on the glass table, and sneaking sweet smiles back at her. "I'll have to subtract the cost, when we go out to get drinks. So, It's going to be a little less than you are used to paying." He leaned back, satisfied with his scale work and bagging, two individuals lines were lined up next to each other. (NT) -- Griffen, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 12:43am PDT
  • That didn't make sense at all, them going out and getting drinks her getting cheaper fixes, but hey, who was going to argue with that? "Alright..." She couldn't help but offering a slight smile in return to his, her eyes on his working for a moment before she checked the scales and just nodded. She pursed her lips gently, before the corner of her bottom lip tucked between her teeth, letting out a soft breath through her nose as she eyed the lines. (NT) -- Daniella, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 12:49am PDT
  • "In case you get there before me. I drink Gin and Tonics." He leaned down and did a line in a fluid motion, with a couple hard blinks and a sniff he smiled at her. "I mean. I can't expect you to pay for all this and drinks, so we'll just make this one slightly smaller package and you can pick up the tabs." He winked at her, it was an earnest wink, not some sleazy one. He offered her the rolled up dollar bill and sat back on the couch. (NT) -- Griff, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 12:52am PDT
  • She nodded silently, not bothering to answer before she leaned down to take the line in the same fluid motion, sniffing a bit and laying her head back against the back of her couch and closing her eyes, enjoying the sensation of it drifting down through her system. After a long moment, she opened her eyes, running her tongue along her lips slowly as she turned her head on the couch to look at him. "Sure...just don't drink to much." She stated with a small smirk before she blinked a few times, not feeling like moving just yet. (NT) -- Daniella, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 12:57am PDT
  • "Aw, I know baby. I wouldn't wanna ruin your night." He smiled, admiring her relaxed and more pleasant figure. "So princess." He held out his hands "I'll give you this... for.. minus our drink budget. I want you to have a good time, and I wanna have a good time, and I'll have a good time if you're having a good time. So how many drinks is it gunna take for you and I to have a good time baby?" He was slipping in and out of his professional dialect. He was a drug dealer, he was a flirt, he wasn't a complete jerk, but it was still there in the way he said things. (NT) -- Griff, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 1:00am PDT
  • She cocked a brow at that, running her tongue across her lips again before she let out a soft breath. "Depends what kind of fun you are talking about." She shook her head, trying to clear the fog to just think clearly for a moment. Her hand ran slowly over her jean clad leg before she shifted to lean forward, taking the bags he offered before she reached into her purse to pull out a wad of bills and count out the acceptable amount, minus about $50 bucks for drinks. At five bucks a drink, which was a good estimate, that fifty bucks wouldn't last to long and she could get home and get to bed in time to be pretty rested for school - with a little help from a morning fix of course. (NT) -- Daniella, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 1:05am PDT
  • He took her palm and struggled to write his number upside down on her palm. The sharpie had created a semi permanent tattoo on her hand untill she gave him a call. "I will be waiting girly." He stood up and offered his hand to walk her to the door. He wasn't seasoned or professional enough, he didn't count the cash he just left it sitting on the counter, his attention devoted to her. (NT) -- Griffen, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 1:08am PDT
  • She frowned gently, taking his hand and standing slowly, her head cocking to the side as she gazed at him. "Why don't we just go now?" She questioned, her brow furrowed. She didn't like coming 'round these parts unless she had a pressing reason too, like she had tonight. She'd rather just go out now, while she was happily buzzed and had a little bit of time. (NT) -- Daniella, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 1:10am PDT
  • "Sweetie I'm gunna have to pass. I got a nice day job in the morning I gotta be up for. Plus, I don't want you to get sick of me too quick, since.. well I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of each other in the future." He motioned to the baggies slightly visible from her purse, but the double entendre was evident. He was hoping to keep her around for a while. She was the best looking girl to come around these parts. "But call me. Okay?" (NT) -- Griff, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 1:12am PDT
  • She let out a soft breath, nodding quietly before she cleared her throat, leaning down to zip up her purse more securely. "Sure." She stated with another nod, turning to head out the door before she remembered a "thanks" thrown over her shoulder. She was obviously a little distracted and suddenly was looking forward to heading home, popping in a movie and curling up in bed. (NT) -- Daniella, Mon, Oct 04 2004, 1:16am PDT
  • He shut the door, locked the three bolts and looked back at the barren apartment. He could still smell her, the smell of a woman was always the first and most important thing to Griffen and she was everywhere now. He fell limp into the couch and reached out lazily for the x-box controller. He was expecting another pick up tonight and he was already about to fall asleep.
