He mirrored her grin at that, brows furrowing a little sheepishly. "Maybe I am. That such a bad thing?" Who ego couldn't use a little bit of pumping every once in a while? Humble just wasn't his thing. He raised his drink to his lips for a long sip before he looked back to her again, his own gaze wandering, but completely shamelessly. "I miss you too." He didn't hesitate to offer the sentiment - the truth was he had known her almost his whole life. He didn't like going weeks without seeing or sometimes even talking to her, as much as he knew he should be able to do it - sometimes it just didn't work for him.
