Subject: Josephine (Phyllis) McGinley

I am looking for my aunt Phyllis who emigrated to Australia form Ireland after a short stay in London around 1968. She lived with her mother Mary (nee Banaghan) and siblings Des, John, Alan and Pat in the Port Stewart/Derry area. We have had no contact with her since that time and don't even know if she married and settled down. She will be in her late sixties, early seventies now and at that time worked as a nurse. The last addresses we have for her are 56 Grosvenor Street, Bondi Junction, Sydney; and 73 Holdsworth Street, Woolahara (I'm not sure the spelling is correct). She possibly worked at or lived c/o The Golden Sheaf Hotel, Double Bay, NSW. None of the addresses have given any clues to her present whereabouts. It seems that she was corresponding with her older brother Desmond (my father) for a short while after emigrating but stopped responding to letters for some reason. It may be that she does not want to get in touch, but she has brothers, 12 nieces and nephews and all their kids who would love to hear from her. We would be very grateful for information that could help us trace her.

Thanks, Chris McGinley. (Scotland)
