Hi.
I am attempting to obtain details on the death of my Great Grandfather who is beleived to have died in Perth. To date we have located the burial of a John Singleton in Fremantle Cemetery on the 17th June 1917 on application number F B 00005861. It gives his age as 81 years. The computer records at the cemetery do not give any other details.
Our John was born in Wexford Ireland in or around 1841 so if this burial is ours the age of this John is incorrect - it should be 87. We are attempting to obtain details relevant to this burial such as next of kin, place of birth, children etc. All we have are details of the original grant of right of burial F 0003148 and the burial application number F B 5861. Unfortunately as we live in NZ we are unable to go any further and have already visited the cemetery on 4 occasions over the past 8 years with no luck.
Can you assist or at least point me in the right direction.
