I was in the library yesterday and did some looking up for the Lewis family. I did not have time to research particularly Edith Maud Lewis, but I am forwarding the children born to William and Rachel, although I suppose it's possible you may already have that information.

MARRIAGE; William Lewis aged 29 years, marital status not recorded, son of William Lewis married 24/5/1857 to Rachel Symons (that's how it is spelt on the marriage record) aged 22 years, marital status not recorded, at Wesleyan Chapel, Magill, District Adelaide. reference book 30 page 233.

I was running quite short of time yesterday when I was in the library, as I have had quite a number of requests for help lately (not that I mind one bit. I love doing the research). I am intending to get back to the library this coming Friday (my day off work) and will see what, if anything else, I can find for you re Edith Maud. I hope you don't mind waiting until next weekend.

Please don't hesitate to ask if there is anything/anyone else you might want researched here in S.Aus. as it is my favourite hobby, and I enjoy the challenge, and the satisfaction of knowing I have been able to help someone.
(My husband and I are both Salvation Army Chaplains, working in an Aged care facility in the city with 50 residents all of whom have dementia - we love people!!)
