Subject: BROWN : CARMICHAEL : SHELDON : KINGSTON

Looking for the listed names (BROWN : CARMICHAEL : SHELDON : KINGSTON).

My grandmother Patricia May was born SHELDON (so we believe) in Ireland in approx. 1922. She married a KINGSTON and had 2 children with him before leaving, or being left, and partnering my grandfather George BROWN. We are unsure whether she was married and divorced in Ireland and then moved to Australia, or married in Ireland and divorced in Australia, OR married and divorced in Australia. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My great - grandfather, James BROWN was born in Iroquios, USA, in approx 1900 (apparently). He moved to Australia at some point. There is a theory that he was, or of, native american descent.

He married CARMICHAEL in London in either 1914, 1917 or 1919 (smudged on childs birth cert). Another theory is that he was a soldier in the Army, and his wife was a nurse.

CARMICHAEL: Mary Isobelle Carmichael, or Isobelle Mary. (her nickname was Isobelle, so we are assuming there is a connection with her name). Was born in Alloa, Clackmannanshire county, Scotland in approx. 1896.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated. There is a great deal of mystery surrounding this family, and I would like to clear some of it up.
