Subject: MILLAR or MILLER born Sunderland UK

I am trying to find any family of James Alexander Millar/er and Isabella his wife.

They had 2 children that I know of -

Norman Millar/er born Sunderland,England on 4th Aug 1812 -

Margaret Isabella b. 3rd Feb 1915.

They lived in Fulwell Road, Fulwell, Sunderland

My dad Larry was their cousin son of John Pyper Millar and Hannah Mary.

Other siblings to James Alexander were
Christopher Millar m. Annie (Fulwell, Sunderland),
Mary Ann Wrightson (nee Millar)- Carlisle,
Margaret Gove Millar (never married??),
Eleanor Ann Millar (not married ??),
Emily Howard Millar married William BIRD, Monkwearmouth, Sunderland.

I believe they went to Sydney in 1920's possibly 1926/7 when the great strike was on in UK and no one had work.

James Alexander was working in the shipyards in Sunderland so may have continued in Australia.
No other info is known, but I would love to contact anyone with any info however small it is. It may just help in locating this family.

Thanks
Maria
