Geniology being what it is there's a chance that there's more than one Lindup line but within mine I don't know of any with a Spanish look, hehe.

My Father, Ken Lindup, originaly from Portsmouth, UK, did a cursory check on the Lindup name and could only find it listed as originating from the Lindon/Lindop family lines with a speculative notion that these names all originaly came from the name London, as in I would have historicaly be known as Martin of London but that's all speculative as we aint checked into it fully but all signs were that it is in fact a British name.

I live in Manchester, UK, btw, moved down here to do my nurse training and was born and raised in Northumberland. I do believe we have some relatives in Australia or NZ tho, my father mention it once, distant cousin or some such emigrating down under :)
