I have found the same information re Alexander Gordon d 1868 but I do not yet have his parent's names to see if he is indeed the Alexander that visited my John Gordon in Romsey/Rochford region.

My Alexander was born 5.7.1821 Bervie son of John Gordon b 11.11.1790 and Rebecka Webster b 1788.
