Well, not unlike usual, I haven't got anything brilliant to add to the aforementioned ideas. I will however, say that I absolutely love the idea of the character trade board. It is up to the people creating and trading the characters to acknowledge the risk that they are taking in allowing someone else to breathe life into their creations, so the possesive factor really shouldn't be too much of an issue, and I think that letting a little variety into these inexplicably large families all played by the same few persons would really liven things up. As for the member boards.. the ooc board is probably the most frequently used, although I for one, do have a character that plays fairly actively (or as actively as possible considering the circumstances) on the warrior board. Aside from that, I don't think that the other boards experience too much activity, but I'd be glad to check it out if I have some spare time. I'm not sure who mentioned the problem of characters playing specifically on their own boards, and not visiting the actual JBTH, but I do think that they are right on target. Also, players are letting their natural inclinations take hold of them when playing an animal nearly as un-human as possible. The whole 'exclusive lovers' scenario is just unrealistic and makes for a lot of space being taken up for herd boards that only contain one or two players, and despite their best intentions, these player often grow tired of rping with only one other person after a given amount of time soo... There is, of course, the chat. Doesn't seem to be entertaining too much activity anymore, and I know that back in the day it was practically the central point that this game pivoted on. Anyhow, I guess mostly all I've done here is to point out problems and sidle up to other peoples good ideas, but I hope I haven't been too much of a hinder anyway.. and good luck in your quest to bring back some of the former glory of JBTH !
