Alright, first of all, I'd like to get a few things straight. Yes, I do agree that JBTH was tons better when it was hosted on Dencity, BUT Lauren had a reason for moving, and perhaps you should hear about that first. Someone stole JBTH from her, they changed the layout and everything, and basically self-proclaimed that they were the owner. Unfortunatly, with Dencity, you cannot change your password, therefore, the only way for Lauren to keep this game that she's inherited was to move it. Yes, I agree that things were better with all those other old owners and the people that originally developed the game, but they have their reasons for handing the reins of this game to someone else. Sometimes you just get too old for it, or too busy. Lauren currently owns the game because the previous owner decided that she would be the best and most fair owner. She's asked me to be co-owner because she can't handle this game all by itself. I understand that we are not the best owners, I understand you like the old owners much better, but you can't dwell on the past. You gain nothing by looking back, except maybe a headache when you run into something in the future. Live in the present people, and don't complain unless you have a way to help. I miss the 'old' JBTH too, but what can we do about it? We can work with what we have. We cannot go back to Dencity, so deal with Angelfire. August and September are the hardest months for any RPG because of school, plus I'm trying to get a job, and I know Lauren just leased a new horse, so we've both got lives outside of this game. Give us a break, will ya? Just stick around a little bit longer and see what happens. I don't want to watch JBTH die. Maybe I'm begging, maybe I'm down on my knees, but whatever you think I'm doing here, just respond, help me out. I cannot fix everything around here, nor can Lauren, but with your help, maybe we can acomplish something. I know this message will get a millon replies as to what you guys think should be fixed, but please be realistic. About the only thing I see that really really needs work is the number of members. I'm watching tons of people quitting every day. You want more members? Help us out and go find some. Go advertise for JBTH. You own this game as much as I do, the only difference is that I have to update it. As for the layout, I'll see what I can't do about that. I'll talk to Lauren if I need to and we'll try to put up something better. And you know what? You can help! E-mail me some layout ideas, and I might use one of them. Don't depend on just me and Lauren. If you really want something done, you have to do it yourself. You want to see a new layout, make one and send it to me. I'm always open to new ideas, but I can't make them all up myself.
Anyways, this message would probably be a LOT longer, but I have to go and deal with my real life. As my final note, I just want to ask you guys not to just sit there and complain and moan and groan. I know JBTH sucks right now, I know I'm a horrible co-owner, but you've got nothing better, so lift your chin up and deal with it. I'm not going to bite you if you give me some constructive remarks, but I will bite at ya if you bitch at me that this place sucks. If it sucks so much, then help me make it better. I think I've stated enough that I love all of you guys as though you were a second family to me, and I don't want to see it all die.
Talk to me about what you want to see done, don't just grumble about it. All I see on MBs anymore is quitting msgs and complaints. It hurts, you guys, it really does hurt me to see all that.
