Subject: raising lakota child

i am mixed. not raised traditionally. i am raising my daughter who is fathered by a lakota sioux. i know she must be taught her heritage. long story, she cannot legally know him until she is 18, but in the meantime, she has no grandmothers or grandfathers trying to guide us. to be traditional seems to be her choice. she is attracted since birth to all things lakota. she is 2 now. the more i learn, the more i worry and know, what i can teach her is not enough. she is a blessing to the world, not just me. can anyone offer some wisdom or advice? she is sacred, and i ask that no person be mean spirited in their comments.
