Subject: Choosing my first 6 hole flute

For any of you that play the Native American Flute, which key signature (G, F#, E, etc.,) would be the best one to start with in the 6 hole variety?

Which type of wood should I get. I like WARM sounds. (If sounds can be measured in temperature.)

I have a budget of $200 or less.
