Thank so so very much for the information. This subject caused a big controversy on another board that I visit. I decided to ask and see what I could find out about this on a few Native American boards. I have found that some say it is and some say it isn't. Do you think that depends on where someone is located geographically? I myself, had never heard of this being another word for female anotomy. I also did not know that some consider it to be demeaning. I certainly would never use that word if it is demeaning to others.

Again, thank you for taking the time to answer me. It is much appreciated and I hope I did not cause any distress to anyone here.
