Your post was not offensive in the least. The incident that came to my mind was of a Native man out west who possessed a certain item because he was a member of the Native American Church. It is my understanding that since he could not be prosecuted because of that particular possession, his home was searched and other items were found that they were attempting to prosecute him for holding - items which are also used in sacred ceremonies. If this man is able to uphold the right to possess religious articles, it will be a precedent indeed. This was in the news of Indian country a while back and I've not heard the outcome - has anyone else?
