Well that is the hot topic today! I just got of the phone with my step-father, tried to explain to him what my current beliefs are. A lot of silence and not much input! In other words, it didn't go so well...

Question??? How does one tell someone that although you still believe the basic teachings that they raised you to believe, you now believe there is more to the truth? You no longer believe in the specific religion they are a part of and the harse judgements it makes toward others!

I have long been an adult living on my own but I still want to honor my parents? In this case, it is my mother and my step-father. Neither have native heritage and my mother does not feel the pull toward the celtic heritage that is her ancestry! I feel a pull on my heart, very strongly toward the old ways, ancient blood pulling on my soul! The pull toward the creator in a broader sense...toward nature and the gifts he has given us! Are there other like me...in torment...not knowing where to turn for guideance and support?
