Subject: Orca whale Tsux'iit/Luna

Hello, and I hope you are all well. I wanted to write to express how very distressed I am about the situation with the orca whale known as Tsux'iit/Luna, currently residing in Gold River. Tsux'iit is a wild and endangered animal, who is being prevented from being reunited with his own family and culture. He is being hurt physically, suffering emotionally, and will likely be dead by this time next year if a reunion doesn't happen THIS fall. HOW is any of this respecting the spirit of Chief Maquinna's father??? All this is doing is causing suffing in the spirit of this great creature, as well as bringing much resentment, anger, and in some cases outright hatred towards not only the MMFN, but to ALL First Nations.

This situation with Tsux'iit is having a very damaging effect on the conception of the First Nations in the eyes of people from all across the world. To see what I mean, I encourage you to please visit the links below, which are discussion forums on the topic of Tsux'iit. I implore you to do all you can to try and influence Chief Maquinna and the MMFN in whatever whay you can. Tsux'iit must be reunited with his own family pod THIS FALL, for his own sake and for the sake of all First Nations. If he is forced to spend another year where he is, he will likely be dead by next year, and I shudder to think of the public outrage, disrespect, and disgust that will fall upon First Nations if this should happen. Please join me in doing all you can to prevent this from happening!
