yo u gotta get dis album!!! i swear!! it's totally dope!! songs like No Stoppin' Us, Bump This, Cali, Spittin' Fire, Our Style are the best songs. this is dope because it's a gangsta rap feel but still clean lyrics. it's like Will's Code Red album because Will tried a more gangsta approach, but still some songs were more hip-hop. it's the same wit dis album. go out and get it!!!

I don't think it has a gangsta feel at all. The lyrics are very different. While songs like "Cali" and "Never Had It Like This" are the traditional M.C. Hammer vibe. He dose dip in2 some patriotic flows on "No Stoppin' Us (USA)" and "A Soilder's Letter." There are definitly some hard beats but u won't find any gangsta on this album.

I'm glad u picked it up...cuz some people are gonna ignore it cuz the only think of M.C. Hammer as the very commercial, over exploited emcee who had TONS of success. But there is a real man under that image who makes real music that we all can appriciate. I wish there waz a way 2 let people know how good this album is so that it would blow up. The album is kinda like Willennium in the sense that there are so many different styles influencing the album while the artist's main style is still obviously there.

i don't ever remember u posting about it!

i do think that it has sort of a gangsta feel because he RAPS fast in it and it's kinda like Will's Code Red because it's not exactly gangsta but it's not traditional hip-hop.

yeah but compare Will's hip-hop like Parents Just Don't Understand, 2 like Ja Rule, Nelly, Eminem. all the popular gangsta rappers. that rap differently. other than explict lyrics, the rap faster. they say it as fast as they can, but in Will's hip-hop ol skool days he waz almost singing, because he didn't rap all fast, he just took his tyme.

The A, it doesen't matter that it's 15 years ago, because that's what hip-hop was, and still is. and that's what MC Hammer is, and i waz saying that sum of the songs were like sum of the gangsta songs in the way the lyrics were presented. of course the lyrics were positive as always unlike gangsta lyrics.

Everybody has different opinions. I don't really think it ahs a gangsta feel, but it's no big deal if someone else dose. I do think that some of the tracks sound more like other artists are out tho.' That's the trax that i think willsmithrocks! is refuring 2. I can see what he means. Those are probably my least favorite trax on the album tho.' Songs like "Cali" and "Never Had It Like This" are M.C. Hammer's regular style and i think those are 2 of my favs on the album.

MTV had some Hip-Hop special on last week and they were interview tons of 2day's and a few of yesterdays emcees. One part of the special focused on M.C. Hammer as the man who brought Hip-Hop 2 the mainstream. It waz great 2 hear artists like OutKast, Foxy Brown, Salt-N-Pepa, Dr. Dre and other giving M.C. Hammer props and many of them saying there were still down with his old and new stuff. The only person who dissed M.C. Hammer waz Eminem...but when an artist and his music is as stupid as Eminem is...who even listens 2 him much less takes him serious.
