Paul,
an enterprising poem, and lots of good meaty stuff for
the readers to get their teeth into.
But: (Isn't there always a but?)
The relentless rhyme.
More often than not, it is a good idea to marry rhyme with rythmn.
Rythmn, in a ryhming poem, provides a pathway so the reader can sit back and relax into the words.
In my humble opinion, this good poem would be made better if you were to lose the rhyme altogether, and render it free verse.
But that's only a personal opinion.
