Amazed she was still conscious, and her ability to sit still, a new form of admiration for deity forming. Shaking his head murmuring softly to her, “That’s a girl, only a few more then we’ll be done. Just hang on for a few more moments. And it’ll all be over.” Finishing the last few stitches, having sewn more this time in a tighter bunch, more durable than the first set. Quickly cutting the thread pulling out the delectable vial of morphine jumping up cursing himself for not having a needle he jogs to their bathroom knowing of her stash of supplies she had for monthly business. Grabbing one of them fixing a shot as he walks back into the other room, squatting beside her once more, tightening his grip above her elbow till a vein was visible quickly giving her the shot…gathering her up in his arms, stroking her back murmuring once more, trying to soothe the pain he had inflicted. Picking her up quickly taking the unoccupied seat sitting down setting her down in his lap, stroking her back, “I can’t stay long. I just wanted to come by and say bye ‘fore I left.” He states to both of them. Shakes his head hugging her closer, “I’ll never forget you baby girl, I’d say it’s been fun, but these last 24 hours have been absolute hell.” Laughing gently
