It's not a vast Potterworld conspiracy that's keeping her down, it's the fact that her books are painful to read.

Aside from interest RESULTING from Harry Potter (much more than the books deserve on their own) Stouffer's novels would lay forgotten in landfills and thrift stores.

If Stouffer has any talent, she shouldn't waste her years fighting something much bigger than her freakish mix of the Smurfs, "On the Beach," and a Harlequin romance. Instead, she'd create and develop her ideas and strive to meet the minds of children in a more enjoyable way than presented in RAH AND THE MUGGLES. Neil Gaiman didn't sue (although Harry Potter is very, very, very similar to his Books of Magic), because he has the talent regardless of Rowling's success. Stouffer's problem is that she's limited to this one idea and apparently nothing else.

It's also very interesting how self-righteous she is. "IS THIS WHAT WE WANT FOR OUR CHILDREN?" she asks about Harry on her very amusing website. Apparently it is.
