Subject: Wow! Let me sit here and pretend that wasn't horribly opinionated! There were some horrible books... Every author writes them. It happens. I am allowed to hate BJ's books. He's a fantastic writer. Besides, your definition of "thank" needs some work. Thank, as in to show gratitude for some act. This is more like "comment on his work" kind of stuff.
In reply to: ----- 's message, "OOC:I was reading the massage board when I saw people talking about redwall books, which one was best, which one was worse, and so on. I'll say this to people who hated several redwall books...THIS IS HOW YOU THANK BRRIAN JACQUES FOR ALL HIS HARD WORK!" on 18:02:16 10/24/03 Fri

  • Just because we don't like parts of books - or whole books, really - doesn't mean we're not true fans. We're giving BJ's books a thorough critique, not completely sucking up to him like you apparently are. Moreover, ever heard of the phrase, "You can't please everybody?" Sheesh! And one last thing: "Massage" board? Hello? This isn't a spa. (NT) -- Irene, 18:34:30 10/25/03 Sat
