((Picking up where we left off, Thanos. Hope you don't mind me autoing you a bit.))

**The vixen pushed open the tavern door, though she was not alone, as was usual. She was followed by a ferret. But nothing else about her was out of the ordinary. She appeared just as tired and melancholy as she did when she showed up a couple weeks ago. Also customary, she wore her heavy cloak despite the summer heat. After gazing around for an empty table, she sat down and motioned for the ferret to sit across from her. She could not think of anyone currently at Nightshade who had ever met this ferret besides herself, so the smile she flashed him would not be surprising. She did not have anything or anyone to worry about at the moment, but still her blue eyes darted suspiciously around the room as she spoke very softly to the ferret.**
Remember last time, Thanos? I was paying you to be my guide.

**Her reaction to seeing the fox was not at all as she imagined it would be, so even she was surprised when she smiled, made a "wait just a moment" motion, and turned back to Thanos, eyes narrowed. The ferret's words had set her temper off, something that was not so hard to do lately.** Thank you, Thanos, very compassionate. Do not lash out at me. I have enough guilt of my own to deal with. I don't need you to tell me this is my fault. I know.
