Author: Jara
Subject: *Though she was still frustrated, there was no way for Jara to remain angry with her beloved. She took the scimitar with awe, loving every detail of it. Then the she-wolf removed on of her scimitars - the simple, gold-hilted one - and laid it on the table in front of her. After that she placed her new scimitar in the scabard, a fitting partner for her father's old blade. "Thank you," she whispered, and kissed Kileaf softly. Then Jara looked to Rillo, knowing that the rat was in need of a new blade. She pushed forward the one that Kileaf's had replaced, smiling. "'Tis a good blade," the corsair explained. "I took it from the stoat captain that held me slave for months. I know that it's simple, but it's a sharp as can be nd as sturdy."*
In reply to: Kileaf 's message, "*The wolf watched as Rillo's eyes scanned the blade. He sighed. "Rillo. By the look in yore face I could say....that you need a scimitar. A better one anyway. Hmm?" Kileaf said. With that he turned yet again to his fiancee. He laid the scimitar on the table and drew his own masamune from the sheath. He clasped a paw around the center of the blade. With a twich he sliced his palm. Only enough for the blood to flow. He touched the pommel of the scimitar leaving his blood on it. He sheathed his masamune and picked the scimitar up. He handed it to his wife-to-be. "Now, I will always be with you. No matter where we are." He said.*" on 18:31:13 09/14/04 Tue
