Big hugs and warm greetings to old friends and new!

I miss everyone! An update on my eyes: I have seen a slew of docs and specialists....seems that eventually I will need surgery (not the easy breezy laser kind, but the really nasty "under anesthesia, cut into the white of your eye and stitches and all the risks" type eventually. But in the meanwhile I have gained some improvement by having my prescription lenses weakened and will continue with that approach for now. Seems I can fight the double vision by constant blinking and effort with the weaker lenses. For anyone interested the condition is clinically known as ambliopia which I had since childhood but underwent vision therapy all through my youth which corrected the problem until this past year.

On other fronts....all of my family is doing well and Spell weever and I are as happy and solid as ever despite life's ups and downs, including aging parents, tumultuous teens, and erratic young adult children's lives. Both Tabitha and Dora are still with us...Dora just turned 18 and has her "issues" mostly with her digestive system, but she can still keep up with Tabby.

We had a bird's nest on our front door for a month and the babies just flew half a week ago....couldn't use the front door for a month! Th mother house finch built the nest on by favorite wreath, and figured the diggs were just peachy considering the door was sheltered on the front porch and humans were most obliging!! The hummers are back and frequenting the feeders. It has been a slow arriving Spring here in NE Pa, but finally looking like it is here to stay.

I am working as much now as i was back in North Carolina, so time is scarce. But the group I amd currently teaching is a good group and nice peeps.

Just want you all to know how much you are constantly thought of even though I get on the computer so seldom these days. Do keep me in your thoughts and write e-mails or call when you can. A warm welcome to all newcomers, including Star and any I may have missed. Glad you found our little nook here!

Hope you all had a wonderful Beltaine. Would love to hear details....thinking of you all with midsummer's approach. Bounty and blessings to all!

love,
Dreemy
