I want you all to know that despite my infrequent posts of late you are all so often in my thoughts and always in my heart. I wanted especially to wish you all blessings of Samhaain and hope all your observances are filled with special meaning and filled with the love of the goddess and god.
I have had some issues with not wanting to be sad in the rememberences of those who have passed at this time of year. I thought i would add this little thought....if this is hard for you as well...there are other ways to focus in regards to this sabbat. One way is in regards to the tarot's death card which largely signifies change and transition.
I have been through a lot of change in recent months and it seems i am still in transition. For one thing i am working a lot more now than in the previous 5 years. For another we are working on the empty nest phase (1 out of 5 left at home) and we will become grandparents this winter as our oldest daughter is having a baby boy. So I am choosing to focus on transition and change this Samhaain, i will remmember those who have passed, but only as much as I can endure without too much sadness. I do want to look at life and death as extensions of existance and even coexisting in different realms,
Know that even though things have been quiet here of late that we all will cycle back around and always return to each other here! We are part of each other and connected in spirit.
