Subject: Getting settled... Author: scarletyoureyes [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 17:47:06 08/31/05 Wed So I'm here in the new apartment, settling in and adjusting to my new school. I did the sage smudging (I posted more details under Bree's message) and the house feels great now. It's becoming a little utopic haven for my roomies and I! There's a constant flow of incense (you can even smell it from outside) and we've really put our energies into the place with decorating, cleaning, and such. We've cooked a few meals together too. Yesterday after class I went into the kitchen and made some veggie soup and listened to Norah Jones with the windows open and it was so so nice. Cooking soup in MY KITCHEN. It still doesn't feel like I really LIVE here yet, and believe me the adjustment hasn't been easy (living away from my mom has been hardest) but overall, this is truly wonderful. Today I had a nice cleansing crying jag, and now I feel even better. My computer isn't here yet so I'm using a roomie's. I'll have my comp. after this weekend and can post more regularly then.
