Whatever it is that is between you and your mom may not interfear with communication like your feeling it will. As winter wolf says, A halmark card or even an email can make a world of difference. When talks/communications is stopped for whatever reasons....the only way to reconnect is for ONE to reach out. It can make all the difference in teh world.

Also, Paitence is key. Sometimes the hand must be extended for awhile before the other person takes it. dont write it off too soon.

Awhile back, I was FEELING like I would probably never speak with a relative again...not with the situatiion the way it was. But lo and behold, The Lord and Lady Do work in our lives...and we are now getting on speaking terms. Finally. It is only in five min. segments....but ya know, that is better than none at all. Also, It shows there's some hope of building up a relationship...from the ground up.

Leave a little window open for oppertunity when it does come knocking on your door. k?
