Greetings All!! Blessed Be. I received this email about up and coming events in Salem this year and thought to share it with all of you in case someone was going to be heading that way. Sounds like some really interesting and exciting events. I really wish I could make it there, but alas, it's not to be (just now anyway). But if anyone here goes to Salem I'd love to hear about it!!!

It has been a while since we've sent an update so there's a lot to talk about!
This year, the Official Salem Witches' Ball is held in the Grand Ballroom of the
historic Hawthorne Hotel. There are only 53 tickets left to the ball and we're
over 2/3 of the way sold out so get your tickets soon if you would like to be

The Annual Psychic Fair and Witchcraft Expo is now every day in October at
the Museum Place Mall, 176 Essex Street. Meet practicing Salem Witches,
enjoy free classes in divination and free wand making for the kids, and even
take part in special workshops on weeknights. Tickets for all Festival of the

Spectral Evidence: Ghost Hunting 101 is about 2/3 of the way sold out also!
This new event is proving to be among our most popular so you'll want to

Shane Bugbee, host of The Death Files: Serial Killers in Pop Culture, is
scheduled
to appear on the Howard Stern Show on October 20th to talk about the event,
If he's able to get away from his October duties Festival of the Dead co-host
Christian Day will also be on the show. Since there is an offbeat, often
irreverent
side to our Festival, we think Howard's show will be a great venue to talk about
how we're getting America to rethink their perspectives on death! Be sure to

We're always asked about events for children and so last year we created
Ms. Firefly's School of Spirit Conjuration to help kids learn that there is life
on the other side and that their loved pets, grandparents, and others who
have passed over live on in the world of spirit. This year, we've added a
cultural element in celebration of Mexico's Day of the Dead with Soul Sweets:
Making Mexican Sugar Skulls. Join Maria from Salem's favorite candy and

While you're in Salem, be sure to stop by the Terror Fantasies Art Show at
209 Essex Street. Admission is free and this year features more macabre
artists than ever before, including Halloween Tarot artist Kipling West,
Killer Pumpkins, and Michael Ramseur, whose paintings of the Danvers
State Mental Hospital (featured in the horror film Session 9) capture the
